I love to help younger kids learn. I think it is unfortunate that kids are rarely given individual attention from teachers, especially with subjects such as Math, which can be so much easier if only teachers would go through it step by step and repeat or find others ways to solve a problem if the students do not understand.

Through experience, I also know (at least in public ones) that high school second language classes tend to be almost useless therefore tutoring or studying abroad is most essential to learning the language well. I would like to contribute to this learning process.

I took math up to AP Calculus AB in high school, including math in the International Baccalaureate Program (IB). I prepared for the SATs since 9th grade through intensive prep classes. SAT Math: 760, SAT II Math IIC: 740

As for English, I took both up to two years of AP and IB English classes in high school. I did ESL as well when I first came to the United States in 2nd grade and know how it feels to not be able to speak English as a first language.

I lived in Paris, France for 2 years for 7th and 8th grade, took French up to AP and IB French in high school, and am taking French 3 at UC Berkeley currently.

Hobbies:

I am a girl who likes to have a good laugh and go on adventures but that doesn't mean that I don't know when to take things seriously and crack down to work.
