I tutored students one-on-one in their homes while engaging in a strategy-specific review of SAT Math and Verbal skills. Students (and parents) were consistently pleased with their level of improvement on tests. Additionally, I worked several years as a sought-after private tutor in my hometown assisting K-12 students with homework and learning skills in all subjects. I maintained contact with parents to provide progress updates and recommendations for additional study.

I was born in 1985 in Chicago, IL. My parents, Russian immigrants, moved to Los Angeles three years later, where my father founded a rapid prototyping company and my mom began work as a pediatrician. I spent most of youth growing up in LA with my younger brother and sister, but have since lived in Boston, NYC, Portland, OR, and the San Francisco Bay Area, where I currently reside. I enjoy photography, running, hiking, brewing beer, urban agriculture, live music, and various happenings around the bay.
