I recently completed a year long contract for Dictionary.com working with the Thesaurus and The Word of the Day. I currently review live jazz for Downbeat Magazine and write Features for the Oakland Tribune. I have tutored university and high school students in English and literature, and currently volunteer as a tutor at 826 Valencia. Tutoring has been some of the most rewarding work I've ever done. I am constantly surprised and elated by the fascinating discussions that emerge in my sessions.
