I graduated with a dual bachelor's degrees in Economics and Spanish (Languages and Bilingual Issues) from UC Berkeley in 2014.

Experience

I currently work as a private tutor in Spanish. Since my studies at Cal were focused on the linguistics and phonetics of languages, my teaching approach is more scientific and precise, with a large focus on pronunciation. Depending on your needs, I can also provide custom lesson plans and notes for each session. In 2010, I worked with a group of American doctors and nurses as a Spanish translator during a medical mission to Ayacucho, Peru. I studied at Carlos III University of Madrid for the first half of 2013, focusing on Spanish language and literature courses, and have been speaking Spanish for over 11 years. I am also experienced in Public Speaking, and completed a Persuasive Speaking course while at Cal.
