Education
UC Berkeley student currently in the process of declaring my major (Psychology). I'm also completing a minor in Creative Writing and continue to take courses in a wide range of categories, including the life sciences, the social sciences, and in the humanities. I have also taken courses in the physical sciences (general and organic chemistry) and mathematics (2 semesters of calculus up to introductory multivariable calculus).
Experience
I have been tutoring throughout high school and my years in college thus far. I love teaching! I'm great at distilling complicated concepts and focusing students. In high school, I took: AP English (both Lit & Lang), AP World History, AP US History, AP Biology, and AP Calculus AB. In college, I've taken: Freshman Composition 2 (I passed out of the first semester); Calculus; General Psychology; Brain, Mind, and Behavior; General and Organic Chemistry; General Biology; and Sociology. I am currently enrolled in Linguistics, Biological Anthropology, and an English course focused on The Contemporary Novel. I also hold an editorial position on the Undergraduate Journal of Psychology at Berkeley and am a Research Assistant in the Department of Psychology/ Haas School of Business, where I assist in social psychology research related to interpreting nonverbal behavior. My interests lie in social psychology as well as behavioral neuroscience (the intersection between biology and psychology).

Hobbies
I love writing poems and short stories, and I'm currently working on a novel! In addition, I love swimming, running, and yoga, and I'm also training for my black belt in Taekwondo! I believe in eating well and staying active, as well as fostering a lifelong love of learning.
