UC Berkeley Graduate in Political Economy. I focused my coursework in international development and global warming. In high school I took all the AP Math/Science courses I could get my hands on. Since college I've worked in Environmental Policy and recently began working in the medical field. Currently applying to medical school.

Experience

Experienced in tutoring a wide variety of math subjects. I find working with students endlessly surprising, fun, and rewarding. Outside of traditional tutoring, I have a diverse work experience ranging from the environmental non-profit world, to consulting, to medical research. I hope to be able to discuss the way interests grow into a career with my students. Hobbies

Preparing for med school takes up most of my time. I'm interested in primary care and the ways to improve the medical care folks receive. One thing I learned - and sometimes the hard way - was how to organize and plan my schoolwork. The demands on high school and college students these days can be overwhelming; becoming organized can help alleviate the stress associated with juggling so many classes. Hobbies: Reading, music, running, swimming, biking and, cooking vegetarian. Favorite authors of the moment: David Foster Wallace, Joan Didion, Joseph Campbell.
