I am currently a sophomore-year student at UC Berkeley, double-majoring in Public Health and Social Welfare with a minor in Public Policy. I'd be happy to tutor students between the ages of 5-18: Pre-K, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High school students.
Experience
- As a high school student, I tutored more than 10 students in elementary, middle, and high school in the subjects of math, English, social studies, history, science, and music. - I received a 2400 on my SAT, and the three students who requested my help for their SAT studying received scores between 2100-2330. - Being a tutor allows me to impart all that I've learned to other students, and that element of sharing knowledge is what I believe to be the quintessential form of giving back to my community. - My college course load includes Astrophysics, (multivariable) calculus, analytic geometry, comparative literature in medicine, anthropology, political science, public health, mythology, biology, plant biology, environmental science, chemistry, music, French, and Latin. - Extracurricular activities I partake in include student government, volunteering at Berkeley Humane (an animal shelter), interning at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, writing and photographing for Humans of India, and organizing concerts for senior citizens in Berkeley's various care facilities.
