I've done paid private tutoring for SAT Writing, mainly through word-of-mouth. I'm also currently a writing tutor at the Student Learning Center at UC Berkeley. At this time I'd like to expand that to anything related to writing, English literature, critical reading/analysis, and music, another interest I have. I feel that sharing knowledge with others is an important part of my experience in college, so I would be excited and honored to be a tutor. I've been writing all my life (if you don't count my first three years), and I would love to share this passion with anyone who needs a little help, perhaps articulating/organizing an essay, or studying for a test/written exam, or formulating ideas or writing skills. I'm patient and understanding, and I interact closely especialy in a one-on-one session, so there shouldn't be worries about being nervous or awkward! I've also helped high school students feel comfortable with college through coordinating work with the orientation programs through the Alumni Scholars Association: Berkeley Experience Program and Overnight Stay Program - I'm approachable and friendly.
