I tutor other students simply because I enjoy the environment of learning that tutoring immerses both the tutor and the tutee in. I take pride in witnessing those I have helped achieve, knowing that they have taken something away from their tutoring whether it be improved grades and skills or greater confidence and ability. What is more, I learn along with my students. With each student, I take away more skills and practices that help me improve my own abilities as a teacher.
