Experience
My primary educational instruction experience is as an after-school tutor for underprivileged elementary school students at Fremont Public Library, where I assisted with any and all K-6 subject material. I also have extensive experience with teaching fellow college students, both in relevant coursework and in disciplines outside of academia, including rock climbing, viticulture, and animal care. I have a history of respectable standardized test scores, including a 2280 composite SAT score, 5s on the English Literature and Composition AP exams, and a 522 on the new MCAT exam, which put me in the 99th percentile of incoming medical students. I am also familiar with the high school equivalency exam, and the mathematics and critical reading SAT subject tests. I feel that, in my time preparing for these exams and making my way through university, I have accumulated a great deal of knowledge and a number of useful tips and techniques for tackling challenging courses and assessments. I would like to be able to share what I have learned with other students of all ages, who I know are also balancing an overwhelming load of extracurriculars, clubs, internships, hobbies, and ambitious academic routines. I am well versed in the biological and physical sciences, having taken all the requisite classes for both the pre-medical agenda and the molecular and cellular biology major. This includes all math through multivariable calculus, with the addition of linear algebra and some statistics and differential equations, general physics, general and organic chemistry, psychology and behavior sciences, and nearly every discipline of biology. I have also harbored a passion for English and Writing, and managed to fit in some courses in poetry and rhetoric while completed my degree, in which I earned A+s. My resume also includes some clinical and research experience, study abroad adventure, paid work, and internships, all of which I am happy to provide information or advice about.

Hobbies
I am a very social and enthusiastic individual with a strong passion for the outdoors. Although I work very hard on my education and am incredibly ambitious for my future career, I also very much value having time to relax and pursue other interests. For instance, I have been a competitive and outdoor rock climber for nearly 11 years, earning multiple positions on the US youth national team and 2nd in the nation at the Collegiate Championships. I have also climbed some of the tallest and steepest cliffs in Yosemite Valley, British Columbia, Red Rock Canyon, the Slovenian Alps, the Eastern Sierras and many more. Aside from travelling for climbing, I have been to over 20 other countries and am fluent in Slovenian and proficient in Spanish. I also enjoy creative pursuits, such as theater and dance, and write both written and spoken word poetry in my spare time. I always look forward to discovering new activities and adventures and am happy to share those that I enjoy with others.
