I have been a peer tutor since high school, and love passing on new learning strategies to help students better understand material. I am a native Italian speaker and have worked and studied in Italy. I received a 790 on my SAT Subject test in Italian and a 5 on my AP Italian Language and Culture. In college, I majored in Italian Literature and never received a grade below an A-. As an undergraduate at NYU, I also majored in Psychology and performed exceptionally well in all classes. Further, I scored a 130 in the Psychological, Social and Biological Foundations of Behavior on the MCAT. I also scored a 130 in the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills section of the MCAT. As a pre-medical post baccalaureate, I studied biology and genetics and performed well in both classes.
