Currently, I'm working toward my degrees in Arabic studies, physics, and astronomy from the University of Maryland. My goal is to earn my doctorate in astrophysics and then pursue a career in research and teaching. To hone my skills as a teacher, I've dedicated the last few years to serving as a teaching assistant. In this role, I teach the fundamentals of astronomy and physics at the University of Maryland. I also cultivated experience by teaching English as a second language to Libyan children. Besides astronomy, physics, and English as a second language, I'm adept in teaching algebra, calculus, differential equations, geometry, math, reading, writing, essay editing, phonics, grammar and mechanics, public speaking, and physical science. I am also equipped to help students prepare for standardized tests such as the SAT.My diverse experience and my commitment to teaching make me a prime and skilled candidate for tutoring. I'm excited about sharing what I've learned with my students. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing guitar and saxophone. I additionally enjoy learning languages, rock climbing, doing yoga, boxing, and cooking. I currently reside in College Park, Maryland.
