I'm passionate about teaching effective learning methods. Experience: My teaching experience includes instructing a full "Intro to Python" class, volunteering at the Exploratorium Science Museum, and several years of tutoring on the side. I cater my teaching sessions to the individual temperament and learning style of each student. Philosophy of Teaching: I encourage students to use specific study techniques that enhance learning. My mission is to teach each student not only content knowledge but a "way of learning" that will make students increasingly independent and proficient throughout his or her school career. While I do well in school, I see learning as an enjoyable activity, and I aim to impart a passion for learning to each student. Subjects: I can tutor biology, anatomy, psychology, or writing.
