I also worked as a substitute teacher from 2009 to 2011. I especially like working with bright students who have learning disabilities such as ADHD and dyslexia, or students with disabilities in the autism spectrum. I volunteer as a tutor at Workshop Houston, and I have volunteered as a private tutor at the Fort Bend Center for Independent Living for over a year. I love seeing a student transition from being at the mercy of their studies to being in a position of empowerment and achievement.
