I have tutor several kids for the last 2 years with great success. Parents seem to love me. I mostly have tutored math, but can do several other things as well (SAT, history, study skills, writing, ect.). I love to teach, it's what I'm aspiring to do with my life, be a teacher. I love working with kids and enjoy making a relationship with them. I have taken math through Calculus AB in high school and have been tutoring it ever since, so my math skills have kept in tact. I also have taken several history courses, which has increased my writing abilities. I also studied for the SAT by myself and raised my own scores by 200 points. If I can do that in only 2 weeks of study, I know that I can help anyone. I have been to several countries and love to travel. I am on course to graduate in 3 years with a bachelors in history from UC Berkeley, after which i plan to get my PhD and teach at the college level.

Hobbies

Traveling is a huge part of my life. I studied in Florence, Italy for three months and spend an additional month backpacking around Europe. I also spent a month traveling around America, seeing most historical locations in this incredible country. I am more than happy to share my experiences and the lessons I've learned while traveling. I am a die-hard 49ers fan. I love watch football and played every year in high school. GO NINERS! I have a passion for school and love to learn, and am generally very fun, but of course school work comes first. My main goal when tutoring is making sure that the student is engaged and having as much fun as possible, becuase when people begin to enjoy learning they tend to achieve much more than before.
