I have a great deal of experience working with students one-on-one, as well as creating individual lessons plans for my students that are based on their interests. I enjoy helping my learners with creating a toolbox of sorts, which helps them not only with current goals and classes, but also gives them skills they will need for the future.I am a Humanities and English teacher at a private school located in Massachusetts. I have previous experience working with students from elementary to college ages.I offer tutoring in Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, Public Speaking, English, AP English Language and Composition, and test prep in ACT English, and SSAT Middle Level and Upper Level.I graduated from Colby College, where I earned a B.A. in English.In my free time, I love to read, and enjoy literature that is both British and Modern American, as well as literature for young adults and children.
