I attended the University of California - Los Angeles for my bachelor's degree in psychology, graduating with honors. After graduating, I was a sports journalist for four years before coaching basketball and teaching math at the high school level for three years. I worked with everyone from small children to adults, and I believe students have the most success when they develop a real interest in the topic they're studying. I believe it's never too late to learn, and I'm willing to put in the hard work alongside my students to help them improve. I believe successful learning takes not just hard work, but practice and effective study tactics, which includes having fun! When I have free time, I enjoy movies, sports, and travel.
