Experience
I have three years of experience tutoring junior high through high school students in Math. In addition I have excelled in mathematics classes here at Berkeley including single and multivariable calculus, linear algebra and differential equations. I completed the IB diploma program in high school so I am familiar with IB Math HL and IB Math SL (I took Math HL and received a 6, and tutored my younger sister in Math SL). In addition to my tutoring experience I teach hand on science and engineering lessons to local elementary school students through an organization called Berkeley Engineers and Mentors (BEAM). I am currently the curriculum director, which means I manage the team which develops the curriculum for the semester. Through BEAM I have gained a lot of experience with curriculum development, particularly with developing hands-on and unique ways of approaching problems. I absolutely love working with students, and I would love to share my love of learning with your child.
