Mentees got the chance to have one-on-one interactions with students as well as aid the teacher through instructional time. Most of the time in the classroom is spent attending to students that need help in in-class math practice problems, re-teaching basic mathematics concepts (adding negative numbers, multiplying with fractions, etc.).
