- While obtaining my master's degree at Cal, I taught five undergraduate classes in the Media Communications department and School of Information. There, I taught the classes weekly, created the class plans, graded analytical papers and tests in addition to holding office hours for students. I've also provided students editing help with their internship applications. Outside of my education, I was a former editor at NBC Universal. Currently, I am a business intelligence analyst for another major media company during the day. If you want to learn how to learn advanced Excel, SQL or statistics, I am your girl. - As far as teaching style, I really enjoy helping students break down complex topics into something easy to digest. In addition, I also always try to provide context so students understand the overall bigger picture of the topic. I am an encouraging teacher overall who loves seeing students improve their critical thinking and analytical skills through the written word!
