I recently graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I earned my bachelor's degree in business management economics. During my undergraduate studies, I served as a resident advisor, which strengthened my mentoring skills and my passion for helping others in my community.One of my greatest strengths as a tutor is that I once stood in my students' shoes. When I received tutoring, I remember how grateful I was to have the freedom to admit to my tutors that I didn't understand what they were teaching me at all. Because I can clearly recall what that safe environment felt like, I work hard as a tutor to provide that same experience for my students. As a lifelong lover of math, I have focused most of my tutoring time on those courses, as I previously tutored my peers in high school. Specifically, I can offer my pupils help in elementary school math, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, AP Calculus AB, SAT math skills, general SAT preparation, and general test preparation.In my free time outside of tutoring, you can find me playing piano, reading, and volunteering with a local dog shelter.
