Education
I graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Mathematics and a minor and Honors in Education in 2014. I've always been interested in being a Math teacher, so I'm currently enrolled in the MACSME (Masters and Credential in Science and Math Education) at UC Berkeley and will graduate in 2016. My focus is on teaching High School math.
Experience
As an undergrad at Stanford, I was part of three different tutoring groups. I tutored individual students throughout my undergrad career and am used to one-on-one interactions and helping with homework. I also worked for Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies for two summers and was a TA for Number Theory for high school students. This past summer, I worked as an RA for a summer camp for students in high school and tutored Calculus. Now that I am getting my credential in teaching math, I have experience teaching in classrooms. I have also kept tutoring individual students during my free time. In High School I did a lot of Math competitions and my team would usually win first place. I got a perfect score on the SAT Math Subject Test.
