Experience
I am a second year PhD student in Nuclear Engineering at the University of California Berkeley. I have been tutoring students for about seven years, in subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra all the way to Multi-variable Calculus and Physics. I have worked as a TA at two summer math camps: the Summer Math And Science Honors Program (SMASH) at the University of California Berkeley, and Confronting Obstacles Realizing Excellence (CORE) at MIT. Beyond that, I also do one-on-one tutoring as well. I really enjoy teaching all levels of mathematics up to Linear Algebra and including Standardized Tests (i.e. SAT,ACT, and GRE), and Physics up to Electricity and Magnetism. I firmly believe in the importance of mastery of material, and my tutoring style is one that ensures that the student not only understands the concept, but also has the ability to apply these concepts as well. In my free time, I play sports. I played basketball in college and have been playing rugby for about 10 years now. Fun fact: The adult women’s rugby team that I played on here in Wisconsin won the National Championship in June 2015!
