Experience
I have always had a passion and skill for writing and would love to share that with you or your student. I graduated from UC - Berkeley and am currently a community college Instructional Assistant. Recently I have developed a love for personal and educational tutoring. I have many years of experience with creative writing, professional writing, and academic writing. This experience has helped me develop a strong skill set that is necessary to help students of all ages succeed with their homework and essays. I can help students from brainstorming paper ideas, to developing ideas, and finishing up the paper. I will also help with editing and revising. My tutoring theory is that a student's skills should be developed over time, not forced overnight. Writing is a skill we begin to develop in pre-school and continue the rest of our lives. It is a subject that can be frustrating and full of technicalities. I am here to help and encourage my pupils with anything they need. When I am not tutoring or writing, you can find me reading, bicycling, or backpacking. I am looking forward to helping people hone in on their writing skills and enjoy my favorite subject.
