Foremost, I recently completed a TEFL Course with the International TEFL Academy, and am therefore well versed in ESL effective teaching approaches/strategies. I have also been tutoring for more than three years in various subjects, to mainly high school students. Currently, I tutor students in the Bay Area in English as a Second Language (ESL). I speak Korean, Spanish, and English fluently; however, I believe in full immersion teaching, and conduct classes only in English. As for future plans, I am planning on moving to Madrid, Spain this fall to teach ESL/EFL/ELL. Until then, I hope to teach as much as possible and in as many forms as I can here in Berkeley! I am a very successful student, and hopefully an even more successful teacher. My students are kept engaged, challenged, and supported throughout my curricula. Aside from teaching, I am a writer. I publish poetry on a collaborative website called Worstofus.com. I also write short stories, screenplays, and literary criticism. At the end of the day, English is both a passion and a career, an academic pursuit and an earnest hobby.
