I am a big believer in the power of education, as it is critical in the development of opportunity. I hope that by tutoring students and teaching them efficient ways to learn, I will also be opening windows to their future.I am a graduate of the University of Georgia Honors College with degrees in both Environmental Economics & Management and Spanish, and I also hold a certificate in Environmental Ethics. While I was in college, I taught with an organization that worked with the Latino community in Athens, Georgia to give them tutoring at a reduced rate. During that time, I tutored reading, writing, math, and English as a second language.I enjoy teaching so much that I have been known to tutor my own friends for free in both Spanish and economics. I particularly like to teach language courses, reading, writing, Spanish, and English. I also enjoy teaching economics. My goal is always to keep tutoring sessions fun and enjoyable, while making sure to show the student why a topic we are learning about is practical in everyday life.When I am not working with students, I enjoy reading, yoga, riding horses, running, and being outdoors.
